The River cleanses me,
washes it all away. Once again, I'm an innocent child at play. The cold water awakens me, to this gift that is life, As I glide through her, I forget my struggle and my strife. So I pray to the waters, I bow down in deep awe, I thank you for your gifts, You bring life to one and all, May we respect and adore you, May we be mindful of what we do, So that our children's children can enjoy the waters too!
